Plot
The city of New Rome faces a duel between Cesare Catiline, a brilliant artist who advocates for a utopian future, and the greedy mayor Franklin Cicero. Coppola completely abandoned the project in 2007 and did not resume its development until 2019. I give Coppola a hell of a lot of respect for this. This guy is a movie legend who just decided to throw away all caution (and consistency) and become a complete mad scientist in this matter. This is a glorious, unfiltered mess from the mind of a genius who has clearly stopped caring what others think. 👏🏻.
